Tonight is...The Creative Youth Awards Ceremony!
Hello, IYSFF followers!
Tonight is the night. What night you might ask? The Creative Youth Awards Ceremony, of course!
We're trying to grab as many peoples' attention as possible, so be sure to let your friends in on the little secret that, yes, the awards are happening tonight!
They're sure to be incredible and a total blast for filmmakers and fans of films alike.
Before the Awards (Which are at 7:00 PM at the Hollywood Theater, in Portland, OR) there is a filmmakers hangout! If you don't know what that is, it's a gathering of all the greatest minds, obviously! You, the filmmaker, will be able to participate in a pre-party type event where you, AND ONLY YOU, will have access to the celebrity jurors who had once seen and graded your film.
The celebrity jurors that you were surprised to hear were on the panel! The same celebrity jurors that you perhaps have wanted to meet for quite some time! Now's your chance. It's tonight.
The filmmakers get-together takes place at 5:00 PM, in the Chameleon Lounge, only a block away from the Hollywood theater.
THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO SUBMITTED FILMS THIS YEAR TO THE IYSFF...OR IN YEARS' PAST.
It's a gift for putting effort into your films and sticking with the IYSFF family. To get to know one another, have fun, ask the Jurors questions and talk about anything film related!
For those of you really into social media, and use it on a daily basis, we're going to be updating everything we're on....ALL DAY AND NIGHT!
PRO-TIP: When using your phone, find us on Instagram, and whenever you take any pictures, hashtag them with the hashtag, #IYSFF or #CYA. It'll be an easy find!

Creative Youth Awards Ceremony
Hello there, IYSFF Followers!
On Thursday night, 7:00 PM at the Hollywood theater in Portland, the Creative Youth Awards are taking place! Honoring the youth of filmmaking and finding out who won the top prize!
It'll be a blast, we're sure.
Bring your friends and family; including friends that might not have been in the festival this year!
Get them interested in joining next year and becoming part of the IYSFF family!
There's a private Meet and Greet for this year's festival participants and participants of Festival's past! It'll be an amazing experience and we hope that you're able to make it. Celebrity jurors are going to be there...an opportunity you will not want to miss!
More information coming, be sure to tell your friends and get as many people as possible interested in the Awards Ceremony!

Welcome to the Official IYSFF Blog!
Welcome to the first blog post of the Official IYSFF blog!
We will consistently be updating on news, events, information and press releases from the International Youth Silent Film Festival.
Our latest news is the Creative Youth Award Ceremony for the Pacific Northwest regionals are being hosted on June 6th.
There is a "Meet and Greet" with the Celebrity Jurors at 5 PM on the same day, all Filmmakers from the International Youth Silent Film Festival are invited!
At 7 PM is when the award ceremony begins.
We're also starting up all forms of Social Media to stay engaged in our young community and to also engage you!
There are many fun things coming around the corner, but for now, it would be incredible if you could look at all of the new pages that we've set up, interact with them, and even share them around!
Also, the Winner of the IYSFF will have the chance to ride in the Rose Parade on Saturday, be sure to watch it on our very own Portland Local News station!
